Wicked this Wicked that. Everyone has been talking/saying/praising/laughing all about of it. Okay then, I make an effort to see it myself. Tonight, yes tonight baby. Random but I guess I need to take a break from, erm... my first exam paper that went quite alright yesterday, no?

I believe in me

Belief and faith, I say they're in fact very important components for me. Especially when you still have heaps of practice questions to go through. First paper tomorrow @9.20am. Wish me luck and hope I survive in it. Oh dear, didn't know you can be so hard.

Newtown Festival 2009

It is a major fundraising event organized by Newtown Neighbourhood Centre Inc. (NCC) to provide services to the disadvantaged community in Newtown. They said this event attracts nearly 80,000 people annually and it really got me heaped for its attractiveness. It’s just right in front of my house! My housemate, Cam and Vani said that last year they closed Northwood St. and Church St. because of the massive crowd! People were waiting to walk past houses to the park! Can you imagine that? Anyways, this is absolutely a free event (admission) and it is certainly a unique way to fundraise for the community here! Highlights of the day: Infamous Dog Show, Bicycle and skateboard contest, 5 stages of music and performance (rock, reggae, hip-hop, world, funk, soul and jazz), writers’ tent, creativity, eco stuff, kids’ activities, 280 market stalls, licensed bars, food and tons of fun. Also, they say it’s a festive that surely appreciates a gold coin donation.

So, let’s go! (Fine, I know we will be having exams from Monday onwards. But I don’t care. I shall look for my camera and go there by myself!) And please stop giving this dodgy look to me every time I ask you to Newtown for it’s underrate image - a hub for homeless but needy people, let alone those many weird-looking folks. Now, here’s your chance to help these needy community! =)

I’ve three papers to sit for and here I am, wasting my time reading and writing blogs. I dozed off last night at about 9pm and intended to wake up at 3amish to study. But you guessed it; I just got up a few minutes ago and trying to fight the headache I am having now, a massive headache.

The story is never ending, isn’t it? Old chapters close after one another whilst a new interesting and yet absurd one begin to emerge. This is indeed one of the most deserving student’s lives. Wow, I admire all of your spirits my dear friends.

Meanwhile, my final exams are scheduled in a fortnight’s time and of course, I shall withdraw myself from all the making of novels and storyline. Thanks Christine, you’re a good girl. Here’s a pat on your shoulder.

I’d a few enjoyable weekends lately and there were all fun times, great fun honestly! And Halloween cum trio birthday party at Macquarie pretty much summed up all the treats I ought to have before my examination preparations. Gracious 171 production (Eric, WW, Edward, Jason, and Gideon) and Natasha & Mo. hugs*

So many things on my mind to share right now, but times forbid me to do so. It’s all because of the country report that due tomorrow 5pm! Sobs*, pump it up Christine. Yet in spite of all these, the main issue that has increasingly raised the bar of my accumulated tears is that I lost my precious camera, my one and only item I use 24/7. Yes, I take dodgy photos of myself randomly and post em’ on the net (believe it or not, of course NOT silly). Let’s just hope it’s hidden somewhere in one of the boxes.

And last but not least, to VIVIEN LOW YUE FANG, please study for Anatomy 3004! Please please and stop scratching! JUST STOP. I should handcuff your hands since I have the handcuffs now. ehem* proud police woman!

The hot preggo mama and Caelan. She cooked ikan singgang with budu after our swimming lesson and apparently that dish was AWESOME. Yes, I'm singgang monster.

We went swimming on 1.01.2009. I'd to hold him and swam together. 2nd lesson yesterday, he already knows how to do bubbles in water, kicking, floating and etc. But of course, with my great help =) And, we sang and swam for nearly 10laps which at one point, he got so tired and kept saying, 'Quiet please', 'Quiet!'. Looking forward for next week's class with him!

The day was nicely spent with Vivien at Sushi Train and a scoop of Gelato on our way home. Strolling along King Street casually in a hot sunny day did make me feel a whole lot better. Hence, it’s one of those good days to start my summary and then, nicely (slowly) pack my belongings into many big boxes.

And of all the things that have been happening and evolving around me this year, particularly within these two months; I’ve grown to accept reality in a very open way. I’ve learnt to tell myself to stay focus and calm down. Or at the very least, try to see things from the bright side of life. In fact, I must add, spending my evenings with a glass or two of vodka and wine do make me feel better. Thank you, Uncle September. You taught me much.

Stay where you are and don't come any nearer

I'm so depressed lately but I don't even remember how it happened. Moving house and studying for finals at the same time are just too stressful. Situations like these force me to see things from different perspectives, especially what happened during MASCA NSW AGM. Although I'm proud that I did quite well and successfully appointed as the social and welfare director, but things were not pretty and there were laid out in a very ugly form. Just too ugly to explain because it hurts me, and some of the parties. I wouldn't say it was dramatic but would rather prefer to describe it as controversial. And from then onwards, I chose to believing in faith and hopes. (Of course, let the time heals and slowly; actions will speak louder than words.) Nonetheless it also made me considerably agreed that the fate of the organization's future shall be determined by the new committee and should therefore, be excluded from all the unnecessary *disturbance* from external parties. But the truth is, there're just people who can't bear to let it go...(which I don't understand why)

Viv, no what happened, you know you have all of us here with you. Friends turn their backs on each other, but I've always thought that sometimes Life is just unfair, and I know you truly understand what I meant here. Still can't believe you're actually 3years older than me. haha, is it me the mature one, or you the kiddy one? =p just kidding! I love you la darling!
